    What is NEET?

    Who can apply for NEET?

    Medical aspirants who have qualified 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Students should have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her admission to the first year of the Undergraduate Medical Course. According to the NMCs fourth meeting held on 21 October 2021, there is no age limit to apply for NEET.

    The minimum marks required in NEET for MBBS Abroad is 150. However, according to last years NEET cut-off marks, the maximum score is 720. Students who wish to get into the Top Medical universities for their MBBS degree must clear NEET before applying for the exam.

    Q: How many times NEET is conducted in a year?
    A: NEET-UG is conducted once a year by the National Testing Agency.

    Q: How many times can one appear for NEET-UG?
    A: One can appear for NEET-UG as many times as he/she wants. There is no limit as to how many times a candidate can appear for the exam. 

    Q: How many questions will be asked from each section?

     NEET-UG shall consist of 200 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology). Which would be divided into two sections – Section A and Section B. Each subject carries 35 marks in Section A and 15 in Section B which gives a total of 720 marks. Candidates are given a choice to answer all the questions in Section A and from Section B, candidates can attempt only 10 questions out of the 15 choices.
