Study MBBS in Bangladesh: Admissions Open for International Applicants

The Directorate General of Medical Education of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare in Bangladesh has announced the opening of admissions for the academic year 2024-25 in both private and government medical colleges and universities. This year, a total of 221 seats are available for foreign students, with 117 seats specifically reserved for candidates from SAARC countries, including India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, the Maldives, and Afghanistan.

Prospective students must submit their application forms along with all required educational certificates by January 15, 2025. After this date, no applications will be accepted. The entire admission process will be conducted online. Documents Required

While applying for MBBS in Bangladesh, students must attach the following documents with their application form. These are:

1) Passport Size Photographs

2) Copy of Passport

3) All Academic Documents (Certificate & Marksheet of 'O' Level/ Class 10th Completion Certificate & 'A' Level/12th Class Completion Certificate)

Note: All submitted documents shall be attested by the Ministry of Education and Foreign Affairs of the respective countries and must be authenticated by the Embassy of Bangladesh.
