The National Testing Agency, on February 07th, 2024, issued a public notice regarding the online applications for NEET (UG) - 2025. Interested candidates can now apply online via the NTA’s official website https://neet.nta.nic.in/. Candidates can apply for the same from February 07th and the last date will be on March 07th, 2025 (up to 11:50 PM).
As per the Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, the NEET (UG) is a uniform entrance examination for admission to undergraduate medical programs across all medical institutions and disciplines i.e. BAMS, BUMS, BSMS and BHMS(As per guidelines of the National Commission for Homeopathy). The NEET(UG) 2025 scores and met list is also applicable for admissions to BDS and BVSc & AH courses, following the respective regulations set by the concerned governing bodies.
Additionally, MNS (Military Nursing Service) aspirants seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing courses at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals for the 2025 academic year must qualify NEET (UG) as a mandatory requirement.

According to the latest notice issued by the NTA, The NEET (UG) - 2025 Entrance Test will now comprise of 180 multiple-choice questions, covering 45 each in Physics and Chemistry and 90 in Biology(Botany & Zoology).
The exam will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. The duration will be 180 minutes (3 hours), from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (IST).
For registering and applying for NEET(UG) - 2025, follow the steps given below. You can go through the information bulletin before applying online:
Step 1: Candidates can go through the website https://neet.nta.nic.in/ to apply online.
Step 2: If you haven’t registered, you can select the New Registration tap and fill in all the details, and note down the system-generated Application Number once you have registered. If you have completed the registration process, you can login for the Online Application Form.
Step 3: Fill in the necessary details in the application form and upload all the required documents.
Step 4: After completing Step 1 and Step 2, the candidates have to pay the requisite examination fee online.
Step 5: cross verify your details and Submit the application form.
