NEET-UG 2025: NTA to Conduct NEET-UG in a Pen-Paper Format

The National Testing Agency (NTA), in its latest public notification, has announced the conduct of NEET-UG 2025 in a pen-paper format in a single day and single shift. The latest notification issued by the NTA puts all the controversies and rumors about transitioning to online mode or conducting in multiple phases to rest.

The notification further states, "As decided by National Medical Commission (NMC), it is informed that the NEET (UG)-2025 shall be conducted in Pen and Paper mode (OMR based) in Single day and Single Shift."

The NEET (UG) is also applicable to BHMS courses under the National Commission for Homeopathy. In a significant update for military nursing aspirants, the NTA has confirmed that candidates seeking admission to the B.Sc. Nursing courses at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals for the year 2025 must qualify for NEET (UG). The scores obtained will be utilized for the selection process for the four-year B.Sc. Nursing program.
