The National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced the schedule for online applications for the Eligibility Certificate (EC), a mandatory requirement for candidates appearing in the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) Screening Test. The test is tentatively scheduled for July 2025 and will be conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences.
It is mandatory for applicants to apply for the EC through the NMC's official website. The application window will open up from March 10, 2025 9:30 AM, and will close down on April 9, 2025 6:00 PM.
Candidates are advised to submit the EC carefully and with accurate details available as per original documents, as it is the last opportunity for the EC to be procured. Candidates have to apply only if they have never applied for the EC before. This recommendation is to avoid error and smooth processing, all adhering to the provided guidelines.
