RMC Guidelines: New Mandate for FMGs Registration

In its latest public notice dated 12th September 2024, the Rajasthan Medical Council (RMC) introduced a new requirement for Foreign Medical Graduates registering in Rajasthan. Effective immediately, all the Foreign Medical Graduates seeking registration in the state must submit an Affidavit/ Indemnity Bond and Affidavit of Surety along with their application form.

The Rajasthan Medical Council stated that these additional documents are necessary to ensure the authenticity and validity of the degrees, internship completion certificate, and other essential documents submitted by Foreign Medical Graduates. The council aims to streamline the registration process and prevent delays caused by false or misleading information.

The Affidavit/Indemnity Bond and Affidavit of Security must be signed on a ₹100 non-judicial stamp paper and attested by a Notary Public. The format of these documents can be downloaded from the RMC website.

The RMC has urged FMGs to familiarize themselves with the new guidelines and submit the required documents promptly to avoid delays in their registration process.
